Meet Nina

Nina is a Registered Social Worker. She is passionate about working with women to address concerns during pregnancy and the postpartum period.

She is also committed to working with those dealing with anxiety and depression and those who are going through life transitions, including helping children deal with their big emotions.

Nina says:

It's hard to admit that you're struggling; asking for help can feel like a big step. Making that initial call can bring a feeling of relief - things can start to change for you.

Life might feel tough, especially with the constant and sometimes conflicting demands in your life. Maybe you've just had a baby or experienced another type of major life transition. Or maybe it's just getting harder and harder to cope with your anxiety and depression. You feel as though you have nothing left to give, and you find yourself letting your own needs fall by the wayside over and over.

Are you feeling overwhelmed and defeated? Is your inner critic beginning to take over, causing you to feel as though you’re failing yourself and those around you? Are you left feeling as though you don’t know what to do anymore?

In our work together, I view you as the expert of your own experience. We'll help you uncover your strengths and resources that you might not even realize you possess.

Together we will work to understand the negative thoughts, difficult emotions, and behaviours that keep you stuck and unable to move forward. We will utilize your innate strength and resources as well as learn some new tools in order to move you in the direction that you are wanting to go.

I will show warmth and compassion and will be there to support you in your journey towards healing and becoming the person you want to be, leading the life you want to live.
