Gillian Minshall - Intern
Meet Gillian
Gillian is currently completing her M.Ed. in Counselling Psychology at the University of Toronto, working toward becoming a Registered Psychotherapist. She is passionate about supporting people and helping them feel truly understood.
Through her work as a direct support professional, developmental services worker, and mental health worker, Gillian has had the privilege of supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as those navigating a variety of mental health challenges. These experiences have fostered her special interest in working with these populations, while also strengthening her commitment to supporting people from diverse backgrounds and walks of life.
She believes therapy is a space where people can bring their whole selves—their stresses, hopes, and questions—and be met with care and respect. Gillian enjoys working with both youth and adults and is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive environment where each person feels seen, heard, and valued while exploring what balance and well-being mean in their lives.
