What is Executive Function Coaching?
Practical Strategies, Confidence & Lasting Change
At InnerWorks Counselling London, our Executive Function Coaching program is designed to help children, youth, and adults strengthen the mental skills that make daily life run smoothly. Whether you or your child struggle with getting started on tasks, staying organized, managing emotions, or following through on goals, our coaches provide personalized support to build strategies that actually work in real life.
Our program includes 13 sessions, billed at $100 per session, and was developed locally and reviewed by our team of skilled therapists and coaches. This means every session is designed to be practical, relevant, and adaptable to the unique needs of each client.
We provide hands-on coaching in areas such as:
Organization & planning – creating systems that reduce overwhelm and keep priorities clear
Starting and completing tasks – breaking projects into manageable steps to build momentum
Time management – learning to prioritize, estimate, and stay on schedule
Emotional regulation – recognizing triggers and using coping tools in the moment
Impulse control & focus – improving attention and self-monitoring to stay on track
Sustainable habits – building routines that stick over time and support long-term success
Our coaches tailor strategies to each client’s unique needs, teaching practical tools that can be used at school, work, or home. Sessions are interactive, supportive, and skills-based, so clients leave with clear next steps—not just advice.
At InnerWorks, we believe EF skills can be strengthened with the right guidance. Our role is to walk alongside you, reduce stress, and help you (or your child) experience greater independence, confidence, and success.
If you’re tired of frustration, unfinished tasks, or daily conflict, EF Coaching can help bring more calm and structure to your life. Contact us today to learn more about how this program can make lasting change.

What to Expect:
When you reach out for Executive Function Coaching at InnerWorks Counselling London, you’ll be connected with a trained Executive Function Coaching — either a therapist or therapeutic program facilitator (Bachelor of Social Work (BSW, RSW) or Registered Psychotherapist (qualifying))—who understands the science of executive functioning and how to translate it into everyday strategies.
Here’s what the process looks like:
Initial Assessment (Session 1): We’ll get to know you, explore your challenges, and identify which Executive Function skills need the most support.
Personalized Coaching Plan: Together, we’ll decide which of the 13 modules are most relevant to your needs. Some clients complete all modules, while others focus on a select few.
Skills-Based Sessions (Sessions 2–13): Each session focuses on one Executive Function domain, with psychoeducation, practical tools, and personalized exercises. You’ll leave each session with strategies to try in real life.
Flexibility & Choice: Clients have the option to skip or repeat modules based on goals and progress. The program is tailored to you—not one-size-fits-all.
Ongoing Support: Your coach will check in on your progress, problem-solve obstacles, and adjust strategies as needed.
Executive Function Coaching is billed at $100 per session (50 minutes) and offered as a structured 13-session program. With hands-on support, you’ll not only understand executive functioning better—you’ll walk away with concrete skills to make daily life easier and more successful.
