Meet Virginia

Virginia is a Child & Youth Counsellor who has worked with children and families for over 20 years. Through her professional work, and her experience as the parent of two children on the spectrum, she understands the vast spectrum and recognizes the uniqueness of each child and family; there is no one-size-fits-all approach. Virginia runs a parent support group for parents of teens and young adults on the spectrum and has a background in communications, politics, and political advocacy at municipal, provincial, and federal levels. She has served as a Board Member and Chair for legislated organizations, advocacy groups, and nonprofits. Virginia's passion is supporting families of children on the Autism Spectrum to find the right support and services.
