Ola Alli, MSW, RSW

I’m Ola. I help your teen or young adult navigate life with confidence

I became a therapeutic coach because I believe every young person deserves support that actually fits their life—not just a one-size-fits-all approach.

My background includes:

  • Registered Social Worker (RSW,MSW)

  • Specialized training in working with neurodivergent youth

  • Years of experience helping young people transition to independence

  • Part of the InnerWorks multidisciplinary team

I've seen too many capable young people get stuck because they didn't have the right support at the right time. My job is to help them discover their strengths, build practical skills, and gain the confidence to move forward—on their terms.

I work as part of the InnerWorks team, which means your young person benefits from our collaborative approach. I'm supervised by experienced clinicians, and we can coordinate with other services your family might be using.

Here's How We'll Work Together

I meet your child at their current level.

Early sessions focus on learning what currently works and what feels difficult for your child.

  • Your child may rely heavily on adult support

  • Your child may avoid certain responsibilities

  • Your child may feel unsure how to start tasks independently

We begin with manageable goals that build early success.

I teach through practice.

Your child learns by doing, not just talking about skills.

  • We practice everyday tasks together

  • We work through challenges step by step

  • Your child gains experience through repetition

Skills become easier with consistent practice.

You see progress.

Your child begins taking more initiative in daily tasks.

  • They approach challenges with greater confidence

  • They rely less on adult support

  • They begin managing responsibilities more independently

Small successes build lasting habits.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Therapy typically happens in an office and focuses on processing emotions and past experiences. Therapeutic coaching is active, practical, and community-based. We work on building real skills in real situations. Both are valuable—sometimes you need both.

  • Absolutely! Many young people benefit from both traditional therapy and therapeutic coaching. I coordinate with other providers to make sure we're all supporting your young person effectively.

  • That's completely normal. Let's start with a conversation—no commitment required. Sometimes just meeting me helps them realize this isn't as intimidating as they thought.

  • No—I work with both neurodivergent and neurotypical young people. Anyone who could benefit from practical, hands-on support is welcome.

  • It varies based on goals and needs. Some families work with me for a few months, others for a year or more. We'll regularly review progress and adjust as needed.

  • Wherever makes the most sense! This might be your home, community spaces like coffee shops or libraries, job sites, or places where your young person needs to build skills.

  • Yes! I work with young people on resume building, interview preparation, workplace social skills, and maintaining employment once they get a job.
