Hadis Honarvari
Meet Hadis
Hadis is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with over 10 years of clinical experience supporting children, adolescents, and families. She holds international Master’s degrees in Clinical Psychology and Psychology and has served in diverse roles including researcher, play therapist, early childhood educator, clinical psychologist, and behavioral coach. Her research has focused on fine motor skills, executive function, and speech development in children.
Hadis has supported children and families across schools, hospitals, daycares, and community settings. She works with children from early childhood through adolescence, along with their parents and families, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, developmental delays, and other neurodivergent needs. She also supports children and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and emotional regulation challenges. With a special focus on early parenthood, Hadis helps families address common concerns such as sleep, behavior, and developmental milestones.
Grounded in child-centered and play-based approaches, Hadis creates a safe, nurturing space where children can express themselves, build emotional resilience, and grow through therapeutic connection. As Donald Winnicott said, “It is in playing and only in playing that the individual child or adult is able to be creative and to use the whole personality”—a philosophy that continues to guide her work.
Hadis Says:
As a parent, watching your child struggle can feel overwhelming. Whether it’s big emotions, anxiety, or behavioral challenges, I understand how difficult it is to know where to start. My approach is collaborative, I work with your child to build emotional tools and with you to feel confident and empowered in your parenting. I offer a safe space, practical strategies, and a deep respect for the unique strengths within every family. Through play-based interventions and meaningful therapeutic connection, we create the foundation for healing, growth, and confidence.
Taking the first step can be the hardest. But as Carl Jung said, “You are not what happened to you. You are what you choose to become.” I’m here to walk beside you and your child as you take that first step toward healing, growth, and confidence.
Let’s take that first step—can’t wait to begin this journey with you.
