Is Your Child or Teen Struggling to Keep Up?
You've noticed the signs:
They're having trouble making friends or navigating social situations
Daily routines feel overwhelming—getting ready for school, managing homework, staying organized
They avoid trying new things because they're afraid of failing
Simple life skills that other kids seem to have mastered feel impossible for them
They're falling behind at school or struggling to stay on track
You want them to feel confident and capable, but traditional support hasn't quite worked. They need something different—something practical, hands-on, and built for their real life.
Practical Support That Happens Right Where Life Happens
I'm Emily, and I work with children and teens (ages10-18) in the places they spend their time—at home, in the community, or wherever they need support most.
Through one-on-one therapeutic coaching, we work together on:
Building social skills and making meaningful friendships
Developing independence in daily routines and self-care
Learning to navigate school, community spaces, and new situations
Managing emotions and building coping strategies
Gaining confidence through hands-on skill practice
Creating structure and organization systems that actually work
What makes this different?
I don't just talk about challenges in an office—we work through them together in real time, in real situations. Whether your child is neurodivergent or neurotypical, I create a strengths-based approach that celebrates what they're already good at while building the skills they need.
We work as a team: me, your child, and you. Progress happens when support fits naturally into daily life.
Not perfection—just progress, confidence, and your young person feeling capable in their own life.
Getting Started Is Simple
Step 1: Free Consultation
Set up a free consultation with our client care coordinator and we will talk about what's happening and whether therapeutic coaching is the right fit for your child or teen. No pressure, just conversation about what they need and how we can help.
Step 2: Create a Personalized Plan
We'll work with you and your young person to identify goals and create a treatment plan that makes sense for your family. We'll focus on what matters most to you.
Step 3: Get Started
Your coach will begin meeting regularly—in your home, in the community, at school, or wherever makes the most sense for the skills we're building. Progress happens naturally when support fits into real life.
Real Progress Looks Like This
Imagine your child or teen:
Confidently making friends and joining in social activities
Getting ready for school independently without battles every morning
Trying new things without fear of failure holding them back
Managing their own homework, chores, and responsibilities
Navigating their community with confidence
Using coping strategies when things get tough—without falling apart
That's what we're working toward together. Not perfection—just progress, confidence, and your young person feeling capable in their own life.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Sometimes! It depends on the goals and the ages of the children. If siblings need to work on getting along or playing together, group sessions can be great. If they need individual skill-building, separate sessions work better. We'll figure out what makes sense for your family.
-
Life happens—I get it. We'll discuss cancellation policies during our consultation, but I try to be as flexible as possible while still maintaining consistency for your child. Consistency helps, but I also understand that with kids, schedules change.
-
You'll see it in daily life—your child trying things they used to avoid, managing situations that used to end in meltdowns, or independently doing things they used to need help with. I'll also provide regular updates and we'll track progress toward the goals we set together. You're part of the team, so you'll always know what we're working on and how it's going.
-
I'm trained in de-escalation and have lots of experience supporting kids through big emotions. I work with you to understand your child's triggers and develop strategies together. The goal is always regulation and learning, not punishment. And importantly, I'll teach you and your child strategies they can use even when I'm not there.
