1. Therapeutic Coaching (Ages 10-25)
Hands-on support in real-world settings
We work together in your home, community, or wherever your young person needs support—not just in an office. We focus on:
Social skills - Making friends, joining conversations, navigating peer relationships
Life skills & independence - Cooking, budgeting, transportation, self-care
Daily routines - Morning routines, homework management, organizational systems
Emotional regulation - Recognizing triggers, using coping strategies in the moment
Community navigation - Accessing resources, participating in activities
Confidence building - Succeeding in real situations, not just talking about them
What makes this different: We practice skills in real time, in real places. Progress happens when support fits naturally into daily life.
2. Executive Function (EF) Coaching
Building the "how" of getting things done
Executive function skills are the mental processes that help us plan, organize, start tasks, stay focused, and follow through. When these skills are weak, everything feels harder. We work on:
Planning & organization - Breaking big tasks into manageable steps
Task initiation - Getting started without getting stuck
Time management - Understanding time, estimating duration, using schedules
Working memory - Remembering multi-step instructions
Flexible thinking - Adapting when plans change
Self-monitoring - Checking your own work and progress
Emotional regulation - Managing frustration when things get hard
What makes this different: EF coaching isn't therapy or tutoring—it's skill-building that makes school, work, and daily life actually manageable.
Good for: Students struggling with homework, adults overwhelmed by work tasks, anyone who feels "stuck" despite being capable.
3. Safe & Sound Protocol (SSP)
Nervous system regulation through filtered music
SSP is an evidence-based listening program developed by Dr. Stephen Porges based on Polyvagal Theory. It uses specially filtered music to help your nervous system feel safe, which makes everything else easier.
SSP helps with:
Anxiety and hypervigilance
Sensory sensitivities
Difficulty with transitions or change
Social engagement challenges
Attention and focus
Emotional regulation
Stress response
How it works: You listen to filtered music through headphones (or speakers for children) for short sessions. The music stimulates the vagus nerve, helping your nervous system shift from "survival mode" to "safe and social mode."
What makes this different: SSP works at the nervous system level—helping you feel calmer, safer, and more regulated before we even try to build other skills.
Good for: Anyone who feels constantly on edge, anxious, or overwhelmed; children with sensory sensitivities; people who struggle to feel safe enough to engage socially.
With Therapeutic Coaching, imagine your young person:
Confidently navigating social situations and making friends
Managing their daily routines independently
Using coping strategies when things get tough—not just melting down
Trying new things without fear holding them back
Taking the bus, managing money, cooking—building real independence
With EF Coaching, imagine:
Starting homework without a 45-minute battle
Breaking down big projects into steps without panic
Managing their schedule and remembering what they need
Staying focused long enough to finish tasks
Adapting when plans change without falling apart
Feeling capable because they finally know how to get things done
With SSP, imagine:
Feeling calmer and less on edge throughout the day
Sensory sensitivities that don't derail every outing
Transitioning between activities without resistance
Being present in conversations and social situations
Reduced anxiety without constantly fighting it
A nervous system that feels safe enough to learn and grow
Getting Started Is Simple
Step 1: Free Consultation
We'll talk about what's happening and which service (or combination of services) might be the right fit. I'll answer your questions about insurance coverage, how each approach works, and what to expect.
Step 2: Create Your Personalized Plan
Based on your goals and needs, we'll create a plan that makes sense for your life. This might be therapeutic coaching alone, EF coaching, SSP, or a combination—whatever will help most.
Step 3: Get Started
We'll begin working together in whatever way fits your service:
Therapeutic Coaching: Meeting in your community, home, or wherever skills need practice
EF Coaching: Working on planning, organization, and task management through hands-on activities
SSP: Starting your listening program with the support level you choose
Progress happens when support fits naturally into real life.
Struggling Despite All Your Efforts? You’re Not Alone.
Maybe you’ve noticed these patterns:
Daily life feels overwhelming – getting ready, managing tasks, staying organized, or keeping on top of work or school feels impossible.
Social situations are challenging – making friends, navigating relationships, or joining activities feels exhausting.
Getting started is a struggle – even on things you genuinely want to do, you freeze, avoid, or give up.
Executive function skills aren’t clicking – planning, organizing, time management, and follow-through just don’t come naturally.
Traditional therapy hasn’t been enough – talking about problems alone hasn’t built the skills or regulation you need.
You deserve to feel capable, confident, and calm. That’s why our approach goes beyond weekly office visits. We teach practical skills where you actually use them, help your nervous system feel safe, and build the foundation for success in every area of life.
The best part? Most insurance plans cover these services—so you don’t have to choose between what you need and what you can afford.
These aren't separate goals—they work together. When your nervous system feels safe (SSP), you can learn executive function skills (EF Coaching). When you have the skills (EF + Therapeutic Coaching), you can build independence and confidence.
That's what we're working toward together.

Let's talk about it! In your free consultation, we'll discuss what's happening and I'll recommend the best starting point. Sometimes it's one service, sometimes it's a combination. For example, if you're anxious AND struggling with organization, we might start with SSP to regulate your nervous system, then add EF coaching once you're calmer. Or if you need both skill-building and real-world practice, we might combine EF coaching with therapeutic coaching.
-
Yes! As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), my therapeutic coaching and EF coaching services are eligible for most insurance benefits under your psychotherapy coverage. SSP may be eligible depending on your specific plan. I'll provide you with receipts you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. I can direct bill some insurers.

Therapy typically happens in an office and focuses on processing emotions and past experiences. Therapeutic coaching is active, practical, and community-based—we work on building real skills in real situations. Both are valuable, and many people benefit from both. I can coordinate with your therapist to make sure we're all supporting the same goals.

Tutoring teaches academic content (math, reading, etc.). EF coaching teaches the underlying skills that make learning—and daily functioning—possible. Skills like breaking tasks into steps, managing time, organizing materials, and staying focused. We don't work on math problems; we work on the skills that help you approach any task effectively, whether it's schoolwork, job tasks, or managing your household.

The core SSP program takes about 5 hours of listening time, typically broken into 30-60 minute sessions over 5 days to 4 weeks. Some people do it faster, some slower—we adjust based on how your nervous system responds. The app access lasts 3 months, so you can repeat the program if needed.
-
Absolutely! EF coaching is for all ages, and many adults benefit tremendously from it. Whether you're overwhelmed at work, struggling to manage your household, having trouble starting or finishing tasks, or feeling like you can't keep up with daily demands—EF coaching can help. We'll work on planning, organization, time management, and task

Yes! EF coaching can be very effective virtually, especially for teens, young adults, and adults. We can work on planning, organization, time management, and task initiation strategies through video calls. For younger children, in-person is usually better because it's more hands-on and interactive.
The Foundation + The Skills + The Practice
Here's why combining these services can be so powerful:
SSP (The Foundation): When your nervous system doesn't feel safe, learning and functioning are hard. You're in survival mode, not growth mode. SSP helps your nervous system shift into "safe and social" mode, which makes everything else possible—whether you're a child struggling with transitions or an adult overwhelmed by anxiety.
EF Coaching (The Skills): Once your nervous system is calmer, you can learn the "how"—the planning, organizing, time management, and task initiation skills that make daily life manageable. These are the skills you need to succeed in school, work, relationships, and independent living.
Therapeutic Coaching (The Practice): Skills learned in an office don't always transfer to real life. Therapeutic coaching (for ages 10-25) lets you practice new skills in the actual situations where you'll use them—at home, in the community, at school, at work. This is where confidence builds through real-world success.
Together, they create lasting change:
Regulated nervous system → Can learn and function
Executive function skills → Can organize life and tasks
Real-world practice (for youth) → Can do it independently with confidence
Success builds confidence → Can take on more challenges
You don't have to do all three, but understanding how they work together helps you choose the right starting point for you or your young person.
Ready to Feel Capable, Confident, and Calm?
You don't have to figure this out alone. Whether you're seeking support for yourself or your young person—and whether it's therapeutic coaching, executive function coaching, Safe & Sound Protocol, or a combination—let's find the right path forward.
Your insurance likely covers most of these services. Let's talk about what will help most and how to make it work for you.
