Through her experience supporting neurodiverse youth, Katie has developed a strong passion for helping young people navigate everyday challenges and build greater independence. She has supported youth in developing emotional regulation, communication, daily living, and community safety skills. These experiences have reinforced her belief in the importance of individualized support and recognizing the unique strengths, needs, and experiences each person brings.

Katie is passionate about helping young people develop resilience, confidence, and practical coping skills that extend beyond the therapy space and into their everyday lives. She is particularly interested in supporting children, youth, and young adults experiencing anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, and relationship challenges.

Her approach is rooted in empathy, curiosity, and collaboration. Katie believes that clients are the experts in their own experiences and values working alongside them to better understand their needs, build on their existing strengths, and explore strategies that feel authentic and meaningful. She strives to create an environment where young people feel comfortable exploring their experiences and developing a deeper understanding of themselves.

Through her work, Katie hopes to empower young people to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and self-awareness. She is passionate about walking alongside clients as they grow, adapt to change, and develop skills that support their well-being both now and in the future.
