Therapy for
Anxiety & Depression
Let’s face it: life can be overwhelming sometimes.
You’re feeling anxious for a reason. You’re feeling tired for a reason.
It’s what your nervous system is supposed to do during a time of prolonged stress and uncertainty. On top of the usual stresses of day-to-day life.
YOU MIGHT BE FEELING:
Short-tempered.
Overwhelmed.
Never good enough.
Having a hard time making decisions.
Just plain tired.
Done. Can’t even.
Awful, right?
Depression can feel like the world is caving in on you. Life can feel quite hopeless, futile, and you might wonder where the meaning is in all of this.
Symptoms of depression can include:
Lethargy
Hopeless or negative thoughts
Difficulty getting out of bed
Appetite changes
Reduced desire for social contact
Numbing out by excessive use of technology
Avoiding home life by over-working
Thoughts of suicide, or going to sleep and not waking up, escaping from life
Hope can be hard to see when life is getting on top of you. In therapy for depression and anxiety, our compassionate counsellors will help you identify negative thought patterns, shift from inaction to action, and start to find some joy in your life again.
