Depending on the group, participants may have opportunities to:
Build confidence connecting with peers
Strengthen communication and conversation skills
Practise teamwork, cooperation, and compromise
Develop problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
Build emotional awareness and regulation
Practise self-advocacy and expressing their needs
Navigate group dynamics with greater confidence
Form connections around shared interests
The focus is not on teaching everyone to socialize in the same way. It is on creating supportive opportunities for participants to develop skills, explore connection, and find approaches that work for them.
