Sliding Scale Rate: As a supervised intern, Rebecca offers reduced-rate therapy ($140/session) for clients with limited or no insurance coverage. This makes quality mental health support accessible to more people.
-
Rebecca has completed her Bachelor of Social Work and is registered as a Social Worker (RSW). She's currently pursuing her Master of Social Work and provides therapy under the supervision of an experienced clinician. This means you receive quality care at a reduced rate while Rebecca gains additional clinical experience. Her work is regularly reviewed by her supervisor to ensure excellent care.
-
Yes! Research shows that therapy outcomes are most strongly linked to the therapeutic relationship and the approaches used, not years of experience. Rebecca uses evidence-based approaches (CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy) and receives regular supervision to ensure high-quality care. Many clients prefer working with interns because of the lower cost and the fresh, enthusiastic approach.
-
The sliding scale rate for intern services is a maximum of $140/session (2026 rate). This is ideal for clients who don't have insurance coverage, have limited coverage, or need therapy more frequently than their insurance allows. Everyone qualifies further reductions available based on household income if needed.
-
Rebecca works with children, youth, and adults. Her diverse background in Child and Youth Counsellor, Early Childhood Education, and Social Work means she's comfortable supporting people across the lifespan with a variety of concerns.
-
Neurodivergent-affirming care honors how your brain works rather than trying to make you fit neurotypical expectations. Rebecca supports neurodivergent individuals (ADHD, autism, learning differences, etc.) by building on strengths, teaching regulation skills that work for your nervous system, and helping you thrive as your authentic self, not as a "fixed" version of someone else's ideal.
