Meet Jessica
Jessica is a Registered Social Worker and the owner of InnerWorks Counselling London. She loves helping overwhelmed women recover from people-pleasing and perfectionism. She works with new moms, couples, and also provides EMDR therapy.
Jessica says:
You know that feeling that you’re just not getting it right? That sneaking suspicion that, despite your best efforts, someone is going to sneak up and pull down the curtain of your life, revealing that you actually have no idea what you’re doing? So you keep doing, keep achieving, keep learning, keep pursuing everyone else’s happiness, hoping that you’ll someday feel like you’ve got it together. But that day just doesn’t seem to come. You get glimpses of it once in a while, but then life pulls the rug out from under you again.
Stress and burnout are the natural result of trying to keep our usual pace during this extraordinarily hard time in history. In our work together, we’ll dismantle the negative beliefs about yourself that you’ve been collecting over the years. My goal for you is that you start to see yourself as someone who deserves the love, care, and attention that you have been giving to everyone else around you.
