Our Philosophy
All families deserve well-rounded support. We believe that ABA therapy is not the only answer to support autistic children and youth — and for many, it’s not an answer at all. We believe in collaboration so that parents are in the loop at all times about what is happening with their child’s services, and that all professionals involved in your child’s care are working together, not in isolation from each other.
Who can benefit from the InnerWorks Autism Services program?
Kids and teens with Level 1 Autism diagnosis, some children with Level 2 diagnosis. Children need to be verbal, toilet independently, and not require physical interventions/restraints to qualify for in-home and community support.
At this time, we do not have the capacity to support non-verbal children or teens, or those with Level 3 Autism diagnosis
Our program is able to offer the following for families in and around London:
Treatment Planning
Upon enrollment in the Autism Program or Intense Community and Home-Based services, a comprehensive treatment plan is developed within 30 days. This plan is a collaborative effort between the intake therapist, the client, their family, and other key support people.
Parenting Support
Parent coaching is a collaborative service where a therapist works directly with parents to build the knowledge and skills needed to support their child's development. Unlike traditional therapy, parents become direct partners in the process, applying evidence-based strategies in their daily routines.
Safe & Sound Protocol
The Safe & Sound Protocol (SSP) is an evidence-based, filtered music therapy designed to help with nervous system regulation and stress reduction Read more here.

Therapeutic Coaching: In-Home and Community Support
Therapeutic Coaching is a community-based support program for youth and young adults (ages 12-25), serving both neurodiverse and neurotypical individuals. It is a one-on-one, strengths-based approach focused on developing essential life and social skills and increasing community engagement. Our coaches are experienced professionals who provide support in practical areas such as job searching, community navigation, transportation, and independent living.
Groups
InnerWorks offers a variety of groups designed to help youth build social connections and skills, as well as free support groups for parents. These groups provide a structured environment for clients to generalize skills learned in individual sessions and to connect with peers facing similar challenges
