Our Philosophy

All families deserve well-rounded support. We believe that ABA therapy is not the only answer to support autistic children and youth — and for many, it’s not an answer at all. We believe in collaboration so that parents are in the loop at all times about what is happening with their child’s services, and that all professionals involved in your child’s care are working together, not in isolation from each other.

Who can benefit from the InnerWorks Autism Services program?

Kids and teens with Level 1 Autism diagnosis, some children with Level 2 diagnosis. Children need to be verbal, toilet independently, and not require physical interventions/restraints to qualify for in-home and community support.

At this time, we do not have the capacity to support non-verbal children or teens, or those with Level 3 Autism diagnosis


Our program is able to offer the following for families in and around London:

Service Coordination

Our Service Coordination meetings allow us to assess your family’s needs and work on a treatment plan together


Parenting Support

Help parents understand more about their child’s diagnosis

Individual or couples counselling for parents

Strategies to support your child’s needs and responding to challenging behaviours


Safe & Sound Protocol

A listening program to help regulate the nervous system and reduce stress. Read more here.

Recreation Therapy

In collaboration with Jess Jones Recreation Therapy, children and youth can receive one-to-one sessions with a member of their team.


Yoga for Mental Health

Group classes for children and private family yoga classes with a focus on mindfulness, body awareness, and self-regulation.


In-Home and Community Support

Our Child & Youth Counsellors work with older kids and youth on their mental health goals as it relates to being a human in the world. Common goals include: working towards better physical health through movement and nutrition, life skills such as transportation, grocery shopping, going to the library, self-regulating while being in unfamiliar environments, social & communication skills, etc.

***Please note that this is NOT respite care.

Kids Games Club (ages 11-14)

Teen Games Club (age 15-18)

Dungeons & Dragons Group

Games Clubs are each offered monthly.

D&D Group is bi-weekly, on Saturdays.
