DBT Skills Group for Teens (Ages 13–18)
A Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills group offers a structured, supportive, and educational environment to help teens develop essential life skills for managing emotions and behaviors effectively.
What Will Teens Learn?
This 6-week group focuses on key DBT skills, including:
Emotional Regulation: Understand and manage emotions effectively.
Interpersonal Effectiveness: Build and maintain healthy relationships.
Mindfulness: Stay present and focused in the moment.
Distress Tolerance: Cope with challenging situations without feeling overwhelmed.
Middle Path Skills: Navigate conflicts and differing perspectives, tailored to the youth/family DBT model.

Jennifer Wilson, RN CPMHN (C)
Jennifer brings 35+ years of experience working with adolescents and families in psychiatric settings. Fully trained in DBT, she has practiced this comprehensive therapy for 17 years, helping countless young people develop the skills they need to thrive.
